- A 19-year-old man was found fatally shot in a forest on Friday evening South Dallas. The police were sent to the 4600 block of at around 6:35 p.m. Silberstrassewhere they found Anthony Diana Dixon with gunshot wounds. Dixon was pronounced dead at the scene. Anyone with information about this murder is asked to come forward Detective Phillip Wheeler of Dallas Police Department. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
- A new path, one of the largest community projects south of Downtown Dallas, is officially open in Oak rocks. the Honey Springs-Cedar Crest Trail connects districts in the south Dallas and offers views of the city skyline.
