- the University of Texas at Dallas was named one of the “Best of the Best” colleges and universities in the country for LGBTQ students for the second year in a row. UT Dallas was one of only two universities in the southwest Campus Pride 2021 Best of the best List of 30 LGBTQ-friendly colleges and universities. The list includes institutions with the highest scores on LGBTQ-friendly benchmarks for policies, programs, and practices. (Press office)
- Dallas Police are looking for a suspect who shot a 21-year-old man on Friday night. Dallas and ARROW Police responded to a shootout North Lamar Street. Upon arrival, the officers found a victim Jabari Griffin Shot; Gripping later succumbed to his injuries. The suspect, identified as a 20-year-old Dezra Walker-JohnsonHe fled the scene after the incident and is currently at large. (CBS Dallas / Fort Worth)
