This unique home – which was built in 2017 – is back on the market to delight a new buyer.

In an interview we did for a story in 2020, architect Joshua Nimmo told The News that the house was designed with the natural surroundings in mind.

“The dimensions and placement of the house on the site were carefully designed so as not to disturb the trees,” said Nimmo.

The 6,325-square-foot home was designed with sustainability in mind, Nimmo said in the statement. The property has geothermal heating and cooling, which makes it more energy efficient and environmentally friendly. The house with a slim and flat-looking roofline was designed without an attic in order to reduce heat build-up and transfer.

The home at 11345 W. Ricks Circle has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two half baths. The entire house is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows that make the house appear to be floating. In addition to the main living spaces – all of which are full of natural light and look out over the property – the house has several outdoor living spaces, storage space, and a four-car garage.

The house sits on 1.33 hectares and has a pool with a waterfall edge. Landscape architect David Hocker designed the property with large trees and lots of green.

The house is listed by Melissa Jennings of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty at an asking price of $ 7,995,000. According to tax documents, the property changed hands in November 2020.
