A 30-year-old man was fatally shot in South Dallas on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Officials who responded around 4:45 p.m. at 1615 Marburg St., near Botham Jean Boulevard and Elsie Faye Heggins Streets, found the victim.
The wounded man, Irishman Jimmy Booker, later died in a hospital.
Police said what led to the shooting is still under investigation and has provided no information about a possible suspect.
