5 fall foodie events in Collin County this weekend

On Saturday, October 23rd, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM in Plano, visit McCall Plaza to check-in for the Downtown Plano Beer Walk. After you’ve checked in and received your glass, passport, and beer guide, enjoy the tasting tour and keep track of all the beers you drink with a tasting card. Buying tickets in advance will save you $ 5.

The FrankenStein Fest will also take place on October 23rd in Plano in McCall Plaza from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. The free event includes live music, costume contests for children and dogs, a video game tournament, and a brat-eating competition. Check out the full schedule here.

The Village is at the Allen Fall Festival from 1pm to 4pm on October 23rd. The family-friendly event features music, games, refreshments, free pumpkins for children 11 and under, and a costume parade.

In McKinney, the Trick or Treat Trail will take place in Towne Lake Park on October 23, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. a pumpkin derby race, food trucks and music from the McKinney Philharmonic Orchestra.

Northern Texas’ Halloween capital, Celina, is set to draw thousands for its Halloween festival on October 23rd. Beware! of the Square takes place in Celina Town Square from 4pm to 9pm. Look forward to food stalls, a haunted house, rides, obstacle courses, bouncy castles, ax throwing, creepy music and escape rooms. An open container event, take-away drinks in plastic cups will be available in restaurants and bars.
