7 Collin County foodie events this weekend
Don’t let the rain stop you this weekend. There are still plenty of reasons to go out, and the weather should be sunny and mild until Sunday.
With 14 acres of land, huge decks, and disc golf, The Stix Icehouse is one of Collin County’s most exciting new concepts. The grand opening isn’t until October 22nd, but the soft opening is an option this weekend if you can reserve a seat.
Rain or shine, Anna’s BarnHill Vineyard has live music this weekend. The shows need to go on even if they need to be moved to the barn. The venue will host a Blake Shelton tribute act on Saturday.
Farmersville also hosts the 5th annual Boondocks Music Festival on Saturday, rain or shine. Expect plenty of food and drink vendors and live music from the Stevie Ray Vaughan Tribute Act Texas Flood and country artists like the Clay Potter Band.
In Frisco, Revel Patio Grill has bands with Ozzy Osbourne and KISS on Saturday.
From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Melissa on Saturday, Lola’s Pumpkin Patch and the local market will be offering lobster treats from Cousins Maine Lobster. Lola’s also has a “haunted corn maze”.
Looking for a place to watch the Sunday noon cowboys game? Try the TUPPS brewery. You’ll have the game on the big screen and their Cotton Candy Blonde brew has just the right amount of sweetness. It’s more like cotton candy grapes than state fair cotton candy.
If you want to have dinner at a 100 meter long table on a street in downtown Plano, Night Out on 15th Street is 6pm on Sundays. Expect live music, craft cocktails, and food from restaurants like Lockhart’s Smokehouse, Zalat’s Pizza, the Fillmore Pub, and Better Than Sex.
