The Berry Street Ice House in Fort Worth closed on July 21, 2021, fwtx.com reported. The closure is related to a failed lease negotiation, according to a statement on Facebook. The restaurant was operated by an ambitious Fort Worth company called Trident Restaurant Group, which continues to operate a small plate restaurant called Wishbone & Flynt in the South Main District of Fort Worth. PaperCity reports that the company will no longer open a Cast & Hook seafood restaurant or a whisper bar called Sugarman’s. (None was still open.)

And a bonus …
Mi Cocina in West Village isn’t closed yet, but the lease ends December 31, 2021, and the company plans to move it to a new address in Uptown this fall or winter. The closure is unrelated to the opening of a Mi Cocina at Klyde Warren Park, says the CEO: This restaurant will open this fall and the new Uptown Dallas Mi Cocina will debut after that.
The story was originally written July 28, 2021 and updated with three additions on July 30, 2021: Nick & Sam’s Grill, Starbucks near SMU, and Oak.
