The holiday season is here and Irving has a busy calendar.

Here is our full list of vacation events in and around Irving:

Vacation on the plaza

10:30 am – 3:00 pm December 4th, Levy Event Plaza, 501 E. Las Colinas Blvd.

Shop with 40+ holiday vendors, ride a Ferris wheel overlooking Lake Carolyn, and go ice skating to the most popular Christmas carols. Craftsmen, face painters, a caricaturist and plenty of photo opportunities will be on hand. Entry is free, but guests are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the Irving Police and Fire Department’s Blue Christmas Drive.

Tree lighting ceremony and parade

6 p.m. Dec. 4th, Heritage Park, 217 S. Main St.

This year’s Rudolph, Light the Way parade features lighted floats along Second Street and Irving Boulevard in the city’s Heritage District. The parade will culminate with the tree lighting ceremony at 8:30 p.m. Enjoy photos with Santa, cartoonists, an ice carver demonstration, live music, and food vendors.

Century parking lights

4th-26th Dec., 444 W. 2nd St.

Centennial Park will shine with 60,000 lights, including a lighted walkway to keep the path visible after dark. Staff will be on site 24/7 and portable restaurants are available. Cycling through the display is not permitted.

movie night

6:30 p.m. December 10th and 17th, Heritage Park, 217 S. Main St.

Heritage Park turns into an open-air cinema with free screenings by Elf on December 10th and Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas on December 17th. Bring blankets or lounge chairs and enjoy dinner at a nearby restaurant or on-site food trucks.

Brunch Mas

11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Dec. 11 Heritage Park, 217 S. Main St.

Santa and Mrs. Claus come to Irving for Christmas brunch. Grocery vendors will be on site and family photos with Santa will be available.

Wonder on West Fork

6-10pm until December 30th, 387 West Fork

A penthouse in the Alesio Urban Center is decorated with a gingerbread village theme, including three Christmas trees, Santa’s workshop, and thousands of twinkling lights. A snow machine and Christmas music await the visitors. Santa Claus is arriving on December 18 and visitors can donate toys for Irving’s Blue Christmas.

Carol-okay

5.30pm-8pm Dec 18, Heritage Park, 217 S. Main St.

For a seasonal karaoke night, visit Carol-oke. Bring family and friends to sing along or jump on stage and lead the group on your favorite Christmas carol.

Breakfast with Santa Claus

8-11 a.m. December 4th, 11th, 18th, 4150 N. MacArthur Blvd.

Santa comes to breakfast at LAW at the Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas. Kids can bring their Christmas lists or write him a letter in the hotel lobby before enjoying French toast and breakfast burgers. To make a reservation call 972-717-2420.
