AT&T Staff Alert was specially developed with Link Labs to help full-service hotels meet the AHLA 5-Star promise to increase hotel security. Employees can use the device to call for help if they are injured or feel threatened in any way.

AT&T Staff Alert is lightweight and activates a help alert when an agent presses the buttons. The location of the employee is then sent to hotel responders, which are determined at the property level to provide immediate assistance. It uses AT & T’s LTE network and Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure along with Bluetooth Low Energy technology, which means the solution does not require a Wi-Fi network to operate.

The AT&T solution is fully monitored and supported around the clock, 365 days a year. This gives hotel managers the peace of mind that they will receive continuous monitoring from AT&T in the event of a problem.

Other components include environmental sensors that can monitor temperature, humidity, air quality, light, noise, and water leaks. Level sensors can monitor hand disinfection stations, detergents, trash cans and toiletries. Contact sensors can monitor whether doors and windows are open or closed and presence detectors can count the number of guests or employees in an area.
