Battle of best new restaurants tops week’s hottest Fort Worth stories

2. California’s cult tacos, powdered with Parmesan, land in Fort Worth. A cult favorite California taco chain is on our way: Jimboy’s Tacos, known for its unique crunchy parmesan cheese tacos, is making its Fort Worth debut with a location at 9316 Clifford St. on the corner of Jim Wright Freeway . in the autumn.
3. Country super couple Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are filming an exciting TV series in Fort Worth. Saddle up for some low-key stalking. Country megastars Faith Hill and Tim Graw come to Fort Worth to direct a prequel series for the hit western drama Yellowstone. Hill and McGraw – along with Oscar-nominated actor Sam Elliott – were cast in the lead roles in the prequel called 1883, which Paramount + unveiled on August 4th.
4. Ramblin ‘Roads, the first mega music festival, takes over Arlington this fall. Live music will fill the airwaves of Arlington as the first Ramblin ‘Roads Music Festival hits the city on the first weekend in October. The three-day Palooza will be held October 1-3 wherever there is a stage in Arlington: Levitt Pavilion, Arlington Music Hall, Texas Live, and more than 15 other venues, large and small.
5. These are the 7 best Fort Worth food and drink events this week. August means chili season in Hatch, and a gourmet grocery chain is celebrating the savory pepper with a month-long festival. This week also marked the start of DFW Restaurant Week, when nearly two dozen restaurants in Tarrant County offer specials for a good cause. Also on the program: a social run with Brews after the race and a brisket smoking course led by a talented pitmaster.
