Carrollton office and industrial building goes to local investor

sales

Investor Cabot Properties bought an office and industrial building from Carrollton. The 113,786 square foot building on Westgate Drive 2001 is fully leased to Frontier Communications and Transcendia, an Illinois-based manufacturer. Dallas-based Mohr Capital has sold the building previously owned by Verizon, which it acquired in 2010. JLLs JLL Dustin Volz and Stephen brokered the sale.

Tabani Group Inc. acquired Westside Market, a fully leased 93,377 square foot neighborhood mall anchored by Tom Thumb in Frisco. Westside Market is located at 5550 FM 423 and has tenants such as Subway, Great Clips, Pure Barre, Today’s Vision, Aqua-Tots Swim School, and Ideal Smile & Orthodontics. Christopher Gerard and Ryan Shore of Jones Lang LaSalle brokered the sale.

ML Realty Partners acquired 72,000 square foot office warehouse and 5.5 acres at 2520 Marsh Lane in Carrollton. Jim Turano from Henry S. Miller Brokerage handled the sales.

The former location of Carrington College at 3733 W. Emporium Circle in Mesquite has been sold to an investor. The 42,977 square foot facility was originally a big box retail store. Transwestern’s Mason Bishop brokered the sale.

Tan Ali Master of Rockwall bought a 13,000 square foot warehouse and 1.87 acres on 1303 Industrial Drive in Royse City from Kendall Acquisition Co. Dan Spika and Lance Woodward of Henry S. Miller Brokerage brokered the sale with Judy Kurtz of Ridge Point Commercial Real Estate.

DFW Texas Group Investments bought a former bank building on 1000 E. State Highway 114 in Southlake. The buyer plans to redevelop the property for catering, retail or medical purposes. Andy Anderson of Restaurant Properties Group brokered the sale with Jenna Gilbert of CBRE.

A Grapevine-based investor purchased a 3,855 square foot medical office building on approximately half an acre at 2355 E. Grapevine Mills Circle in the Grapevine Mills Mall. Weitzman’s Giovanni Scardino negotiated the sale with Rick Scardino, Chris Jacobson and Susan Wilson of Lee & Associates, and Robert Eckstein and Josh Mann of NAI Robert Lynn.

MDT Woods LP purchased a 36,068 square foot mall located at 109-189 W. Harwood Road in Hurst. Structure Commercial’s Jake Burns and Eric Deuillet negotiated the sale.

Rental agreements

Evolv Consulting, a Dallas-based management and technology consulting firm, has rented 24,928 square feet of office space for its headquarters at Tollway Plaza on Dallas North Tollway in north Dallas. CBRE’s Tommy Nelson and Shannon Brown negotiated the lease with Sebastian Sheetz of Sheetz Realty Advisors.

Walker and Dunlop rented an additional 10,702 square feet of office space in Sterling Plaza at 5949 Sherry Lane, Dallas. Jackie Marshall and Alexandra Cullins from CBRE handled the leasing transaction for the client KBS.

Trinity Leaves rented 10,108 square feet of retail space at 2515 E. Rosemeade Parkway in Carrollton. Structure Commercial’s Eric Deuillet negotiated the lease.

RC Flooring & Granite LLC rented 10,035 square feet of warehouse space at 3031 Quebec St., Dallas. Brian Pafford of Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services negotiated the lease with Ryan Lents of TIG Real Estate Services.

Maverick Exotic Rentals LLC has rented 8,055 square feet of warehouse space in the Woodlands Business Center on 108th St. 2009 in Grand Prairie. Jason Finch and Michael W. Spain of Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services negotiated the lease.

Queens Beauty rented 9,943 square feet of retail space at 2109 W. Parker, Plano. Structure Commercial’s Eric Deuillet negotiated the lease.

Workout Anytime rented 8,400 square feet of retail space in the 3100 Independence Pkwy. in Plano. Structure Commercial’s Jeremy Cummings and Eric Deuillet have negotiated the lease with Reeves Atkins of Edge Real Estate and David Smith of CBRE.

Varsity Investments has rented 7,121 square feet of office space at Legacy Town Center I-III at 6900 North Dallas Pkwy, Plano. Dennis Barnes, Jackie Marshall and Alexandra Cullins from CBRE handled the leasing transaction for the client KBS.

Ranger Investments, an investment management firm, has signed a 4,779 square foot lease on Preston Commons at 8111 Preston Road, Dallas. Dennis Barnes, Jackie Marshall and Alexandra Cullins from CBRE handled the leasing transaction for the client KBS.

Sushi Rollin, a Japanese restaurant, rented 1,820 square feet of retail space in Orchard Village, a mall on 1288 W. Main Street in Lewisville. Cameron Mai, Giovanni Scardino and Paul Casella von Weitzman conducted the rental negotiations.
