Central Texas ranch hits the market with 35-acre lake
Another big ranch in Texas is up for grabs.
The 3,200-acre Clear Branch Ranch is located in Coryell County, central Texas, 30 minutes west of Waco.
The vast spread includes a 35-acre lake and is one of the largest rural properties in the market for years, according to real estate agents at Burgher-Ray Ranch Group at Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty.
The ranch has a main three bedroom house, a caretaker’s house, work stalls for cattle, and two barns for equipment and storage.
The property, which has been owned by the same family for more than a decade, was used as a wild and cattle pasture. There is pasture land, forested canyons, and rocky outcrops.
The ranch fronts more than a mile on Clear Branch Creek.
“It’s rare to find an area this size with the diversity and potential of this ranch,” said Harlan Ray of the Burgher-Ray Ranch Group in a statement. “It’s getting harder and harder to find an old asset like this, especially since it’s almost halfway between the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area and the larger Austin-San Antonio areas.”
The ranch is north of Highway 84 near Gatesville.
