DALLAS – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Ryan, a global leader in tax services and software, announced that Charles J. Fischer has recently joined the company as Principal, State Income and Franchise Tax and will be based in the Clayton, Missouri office .
Fischer has more than 24 years of experience in public accounting and advises clients on tax matters in several countries. He also has extensive experience of income and franchise tax refund reviews, corporate reorganizations, and assisting with state tax disputes, including serving as the Missouri State Desk for several accounting firms.

Prior to joining Ryan, Fischer worked for a Big Four accounting firm, where he was responsible for leading national and regional efforts among multi-state and international tax teams dealing with government tax issues and opportunities related to international tax planning, as well as expanding the Multi-state tax services for inbound customers.
Fischer is a Missouri Chartered Accountant and a member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a frequent speaker on government tax matters, including at events sponsored by organizations such as COST, TEI, Bloomberg BNA, Tax Analysis, and the Global Business Alliance. Fischer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a major in accounting and a minor in political science from Washington University in St. Louis.
