“We’re around 85 years old and we’ve been basically open ever since,” Nishimoto explains
Jessica has always been drawn to working with marine life.
“I am originally from Southern California and grew up by the ocean, so it’s very ingrained in me,” said Nishimoto. “I already knew as a child that I wanted to work with animals and, above all, with fish. The nice thing about it is that, surprisingly, they all have very different personalities. “

Jessica is grateful to educate families through innovative and interactive exhibits that inspire a love of marine life.
“I really love seeing the mahi mahi exhibit, its natural feeding habits,” said Nishimoto. “It’s nice to just take the time to feed the animals, watch them – enjoy them.”
The Dallas Children’s Aquarium is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
