Constant Aviation has added three new locations to its nationwide AOG (Aircraft on Ground) cellular network. Effective immediately, teams from Van Nuys, California, Bedford, Mass., And Sugarland, Texas will be deployed, bringing the number of locations in the US where AOG teams are located to 27, a growth of 28 Percent since 2020.

As one of the largest Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) companies in the country, Constant Aviation’s AOG service has expanded rapidly this year due to growing demand from increasing private aviation activity. In 2021, technicians from the 27 AOG centers were called to more than 300 airports to provide repair, maintenance or avionics services, or to bring aircraft back into service that were parked during the worst times of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“One of the most appealing things about private jets is that they can depart from 5,000 airports, as opposed to the 500 that airliners serve, so travelers can fly closer to their final destinations. However, many of these smaller airports lack maintenance capacity, ”said Paul Witt, Vice President of AOG Operations at Constant Aviation. “Our aircraft-on-ground teams can travel from strategically located centers across the country to any airport in hours, if not minutes, to provide vital services that ensure the flight safety of the aircraft.”
