DALLAS ARBORETUM COMPETITION

2. Eligibility to participate. Subject to the additional restrictions below, DALLAS ARBORETUM COMPETITION
(the “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal US residents 18 and over in Texas who reside within the Nielsen-defined 32 County Designated Market Area of Dallas Fort Worth. Employees and contractors of WFAA-TV, Inc. (“Sponsor”), TEGNA Inc., Promotional DALLAS ARBORETUM (“Advertising Sponsor”) and each of them respective affiliated companies and advertising and advertising agencies as well as the immediate family members and all persons who are resident with such employees or contractors are not eligible to participate or to win.
3. How one Input. The competition begins on December 11th, 2021 and ends 36 hours after the time of publication (“competition period”). Participants have taken part in the competition as soon as they have filled in all the required information and followed all published instructions by liking the competition entry on https: // www.instagram.com/wfaagmt/, mark an Instagram account in the comments of the competition entry and follow @wfaagmt + @swooziesdallas on Instagram. All submissions must be received within 36 hours of the social posting date.
Multiple participants may take part in this competition by submitting multiple comments and marking a different account in each comment. Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries. All entries become the property of Sponsor and none will be returned. Entrants acknowledge and agree that Sponsor has the right to edit, adapt, modify, reproduce, publish, advertise, record, broadcast, or otherwise display the Entries without limitation or compensation to Entrants or to use. Sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify entries that allegedly infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party or that Sponsor, in its sole discretion, deems to be obscene, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate for a general audience to view.
4th Selection of winners. 1 winner will be selected at random from eligible submissions in the social contest post.
5. Prices and odds. . 1 winner will be selected from qualified entries to receive 4 tickets for general admission to the Dallas Arboretum. The approximate value is approximately $ 140
6th Winner notification and acceptance. 1 Winners will be notified on or around 12/12/2021. Failure to respond to notification by the winner within 24 hours will result in the prospect’s disqualification, a loss of interest in all prizes, and the selection of a replacement winner from any remaining eligible entries. In order to claim the prize, each winner must receive the prize from DALLAS ARBORETUM by telephone agreement, stating the contact details, by December 31, 2021 at the latest. Winners can waive their right to prizes. Prizes are non-transferable and non-transferable. No substitutions allowed by the winner. The prizes cannot be redeemed for cash. Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and the sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and paying taxes on prizes. Winners may be required to complete an eligibility / liability affidavit certifying that the entrant’s submission is the entrant’s original work, that the entrant has the right to do the work, that the entry has not previously been awarded a prize or prize has won a competition and has not yet been published and that entrant has complied with the competition’s official rules and a liability and disclosure notice which must be returned in accordance with Sponsor’s instructions. Failure to sign and return the affidavit or release statement, or failure to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may result in the winner’s disqualification, loss of interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to a substitute winner. Unless prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner’s consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information and likeness in any media for commercial or promotional purposes, without internet restriction, or for other compensation Winners will not be won and claimed under these Official Rules, will not be awarded and will remain the property of Sponsor.
7th participation. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, at the sole discretion of Sponsor, to expel anyone found tampering with or otherwise misusing any aspect of this Contest. In case the competition is compromised by Any virus, unauthorized human interference, tampering, or any other cause beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, or the orderly operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend change or end the sweepstakes. Should the competition end before the specified expiration date, the sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on entries received prior to the end date. Sponsors are not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries (either photos or ballots), poor quality photos, or lack of entries or votes or other electronic communications due to transcription errors or technical errors of any kind, including without limitation Restriction, malfunction of networks, hardware or software, regardless of whether they originate from the sender or sponsor. An “authorized account holder” is the natural person who has been assigned to such an e-mail account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization who is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for those with this e-mail Account linked domain is responsible. A potential winner may be asked to provide evidence that in the event of a dispute, all online entries will be deemed submitted by the owner of the Facebook account from which they were sent. For these purposes, an ISP account holder is the natural person assigned to such an ISP account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for the assignment of ISP addresses for the domain linked to this ISP account responsible for. By participating in this competition, each participant agrees to completely exempt the sponsor, TEGNA Inc. and Facebook from all claims, costs, liabilities, losses, injuries and damage resulting from the competition, to indemnify and hold harmless forever including, but not limited to, claims for personal injury, death or damage or loss of property or other damage arising out of the entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes, receipt, use or abuse of a prize, or any trip or activity in the Related to the sweepstakes or other prizes. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered, or affiliated with by Meta.

By participating in the competition, each participant grants the sponsor an exclusive, free of charge and irrevocable right and a license to publish, print, edit or otherwise use the submitted entry in whole or in part for any purpose and in any way license (including but not limited to the Internet) around the world on a permanent basis and license others to do so, all without limitation or further compensation. Each entrant further agrees that, if their entry is selected as a winning entry by the sponsor, they will sign any additional license or clearance that the sponsor may require and not publicly perform or display their entry without the sponsor’s express permission.
9. construction. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules does not affect the validity or enforceability of other provisions. In the event that any such provision is invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these Rules shall be construed by their terms as if they did not contain the invalid or unenforceable provision.

The raffle sponsor and jury decisions regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the raffle are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical, printing or other accidental errors in these Official Rules or in any other materials related to the Sweepstakes.
