Dallas County’s ‘Sheriff’s Night’ for Teens is Tonight, Includes Free Food, Basketball – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

Dallas County Sheriff Marian Brown will be hosting a teenage night Friday night in hopes of educating and speaking to teens in the county.

The Teen Night event is the first community event of the year hosted by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department.

“Sheriff’s Night was created to provide information to teens ages 13-17,” the department said, adding that they offer free food (in-n-out burgers), host a 3-point basketball tournament and glow-in-the. will play – dark dodgeball.

They will also offer courses on saving money, spiritual wellbeing, and instruction on how law enforcement should interact with the public.

The event will take place on Friday, July 16, from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm at the Jaycee-Zaragoza Recreation Center on 3114 Clymer Street in Dallas.

The Dallas Sheriff’s Department has partnered with Dallas Parks and Recreation to host the event.
