Dallas Cowboys Podcast: Winners & Losers As Camp Closes in Oxnard
For the past 15 years, the Dallas Cowboys have called Oxnard, California at the start of their training camp.
The nice weather and the chance to get away are appreciated, but all good things come to an end.
After the team’s preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday, the team will travel back to Frisco to continue training camp at The Star.
At this point in training camp, there were highs, especially on the defensive side of the ball, with the development of young players including rookies Micah Parsons, Kelvin Joseph and Nahshon Wright.
There were also lows when quarterback Dak Prescott injured his shoulder early in training camp, which restricted him. Prescott is looking to return to the field with an ankle injury after eleven games last season.
Wide receiver Amari Cooper started training camp on the PUP list but was activated earlier this week and got some much-needed reps to shake off some of the rust.
