Dallas developer heads to Waxahachie for new rental project
A Dallas-based developer and investor has begun construction of a residential complex in Waxahachie.
It is Kaltra Capital Partners’ second project launch in the Dallas area.
The 175-unit apartment building called The Hamilton is located near the corner of Garden Valley Parkway and Goodnight Lane in Waxahachie, south of Dallas.
The project is Kaltra Capital Partner’s first project for older adults and will open at the end of next year. The nearly 8 acre rental community will include a dog park and spa, indoor golf simulator, theater, salon and fitness room.
“The Hamilton is our second of three development projects in Ellis County and we are excited about the strength of its rental market,” said Nic Balsamo, partner at Kalterra Capital Partners, in a statement that requires little to no maintenance and The Hamilton will Live up to lifestyle.
“With Ellis County’s growth, it was only a matter of time before an active Class A adult community was built – and we’re happy to be the team to make that possible.”
Kaltra Capital Partners has projects in progress in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and central Texas.
In October, the developer began construction of Midtown GP, a 56-acre mixed-use Grand Prairie under construction on State Highway 161 and Forum Drive north of Interstate 20. The project will include townhouses, apartments, shops and restaurants.
