Dallas Lifestyle Brand Hari Mari Drops First Slipper Collection

After launching the Hari Mari clothing line in May, the legendary Dallas-based shoe company launched its first line of slippers.

“Our customers have been asking for a winter counterpart to our sandals for some time and we are very pleased to bring a slipper made in the Americas to the table,” says co-founder Lila Stewart. “With all of the supply chain problems everyone faces, we’re grateful and proud that our lambskin is from Texas and that the products are handcrafted in Mexico.”

For years after its launch in 2012, Dallasites Jeremy and Lila Stewart focused solely on expanding their comfortable line of flip-flops, working with the likes of Peter Millar and J. Crew. Hari Mari debuted a men’s shoe line in 2019 (soon to be a women’s line) and switched to apparel back in May when the company opened its flagship store on Knox Street.

Mari’s day

True to its mission to develop comfortable shoes with premium products, Hari Mari’s new line of slippers features 100 percent real premium Texas shearling lining, memory foam for comfort when standing, hand-sewn moccasins and high-quality EVA midsoles incorporated into all Hari Mari flip flops.

The collection also uses nubuck and full-grain leather from historic Léon, Mexico, which makes it water-friendly and durable.

The collection will include six styles for men and women. The ladies Sofia, Mari, Casita and Alta range from slip-ons to moccasin boots. Men’s Hacienda and Hacienda LX are loafer slippers with a full-grain leather option.

In addition to the location on Knox Street, the collection is available online at harimari.com and from retailers such as Neiman Marcus, West Marine and Orvis.

The new line is in the $ 120 to $ 175 price range.
