Posted October 1, 2021
(WBAP / KLIF) – Three Dallas firefighters injured in an apartment explosion this week remain in critical but stable condition at the hospital. Dallas Fire Department officials remain optimistic about their forecast. In addition, the Dallas Office of Emergency Management is coordinating with local hotels to extend the stay of residents displaced by the explosion over the weekend.
They are also working on long-term plans for around 28 residents affected by the blast.
Dallas Animal Services is also killing pets displaced in the blast by providing needed boxes, food, and toys.
28 residents lived in the apartment building and emergency management officials gave the tenants the green light to return to the rubble to retrieve their belongings.
