Eataly Dallas To Host Grand Opening Event on Nov. 12

Although it’s been open for quite some time, Eataly Dallas will officially open on Friday, November 12th.

The three-story culinary playground in the NorthPark Center offers Italian delicacies such as fresh pasta, bread, cheese, wine and desserts, as well as a marketplace from local producers in DFW. This grand opening event promises to properly introduce us to all of their offerings and showcase the very best food and drink it has to offer.

“All You Can Eataly” offers 100 regional wine tastings, several cocktail bars and 30 tasting stations to enjoy, including freshly peeled oysters, hand-thrown pizzas, fresh pasta prepared in a wheel from Parmigiano Reggiano, artisanal salumi and formaggi and desserts such as Ice cream, tiramisu and hand-filled cannolis.

The event takes place both indoors and outdoors, where you’ll find Italian grills making arrosticini (traditional lamb skewers) and porceddu (whole roast pork), and an outdoor aperol spritz bar for a little sparkling wine.

To complement the “shop, eat, study” experience that Eataly is known for, the event will also host several live demonstrations by chefs. There will be live music and a photo box. Dallas-based artist Volta Smith will be on site as part of Eataly Dallas’ mission to support local art. The locally made watercolor art, as well as an Eataly branded wine holder, can be personalized so you can take it home with you.

Tickets can be purchased through their website; General admission is $ 99 and the VIP price is $ 149, which includes special Italian wine tastings, truffle dishes, fresh lobster, and caviar.

On the day of the event, the store closes early at 3:00 p.m. to prepare for the nightly celebrations, followed by a VIP start time at 6:00 p.m. and a general admission time of 7:00 p.m. The event ends at 10:30 p.m.

COVID-19 guidelines are followed, visitors are encouraged to wear masks and social distance if necessary.
