What: Recipe for the success foundation “Fashion in the Fields” brunch with Lele Sadoughi
Where: Recipe for success for the farms of hope
PC moment: Who wouldn’t be excited to have a lunchtime party with the Dallas-born and famous fashion designer? It so happened that a cheerful crowd of Femmes in fancy farm girl clothes turned out and many Sadoughis wore characteristic beaded headbands for a day on the farm.
DR. Sippi and Ajay Khurana, with her two children Shaan and Seva on board, directed the event, in which Sadoughi’s two youngsters took part in the fashion parade with the children of sponsors. Neiman Marcus moderated the presentation of The Art of Fashion with professional models who not only wore the latest fashion but also accessories from Lele Sadoughi’s must-have collection. All were immediately available in Neiman Marcus’ pop-up shop on site.

The $ 185,000 raised during the event will help fund the weekly distribution of the Foundation’s free produce grown on Hope Farms to food insecure families in Sunnyside. The call raised $ 7,500, producing 32 of the target families weekly for four months.
The event took place in the charming United Health Gathering Barn, where numerous fundraising campaigns were held by the Recipe for Success Foundation. Following the fashion presentation, the guests were greeted by a multi-course dinner with elements from Bistro Menil, BOH Pasta & Pizza, Bludorn, Eunice, Clarified Living, Culinaire, Salata and Snooze AM Eatery – Galleria.
