Have you never been to fly fishing?
Beginners can learn casting and backcasting thanks to a course offered next month by Grapevine Parks and Recreation.
The department will present an “Introduction to Fly Fishing” from October 5th.
The course, open to everyone from the age of 15, takes place every Tuesday through October 26th from 6 to 7 p.m. in Pickering Park.
The introductory course “will get most beginners fishing and make you an experienced fly fisherman,” says the course description.
The course is taught by an experienced fly fisherman and also walks participants through the basics of fly fishing equipment.
All devices are provided. Registration is now open. The session costs $ 55.
