Fort Worth Police Investigating Overnight Triple Shooting – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

Fort Worth Police are investigating a triple shootout that occurred early Sunday morning.

Police said officers were working in the West 7th Bar neighborhood when they were told that several people were shot dead shortly after 2 a.m. just as bars closed and hundreds filled the street.

Police said when officers arrived they found three victims with apparent gunshot wounds near Norwood and Morton Streets.

“It’s just scary. It’s crazy, it’s one thing when you hear it, but when you see it it becomes more real,” said Victoria, who lives nearby and was woken up by the gunfire.

Videos shared on social media showed the crowd scrambling for gunfire.

“There are probably a lot of innocent bystanders who were likely hit,” said Trey Lockhart, who says he was at a nearby bar.

Investigators focused on a parking garage and the street in front of it, where the bullet-shattered shop door is now boarded up.

The victims were taken to nearby hospitals under unknown conditions.

According to the police, there are currently no suspects in custody.

According to the police, this incident is still being investigated.
