Amazon’s air hub in Haslet transports half a million parcels every day, the company announced.

“We have certainly seen increasing demand here at DFW. We have over eight million people in North Texas who all love to shop, ”said Amazon representative Daniel Martin.

The hub is the only one of its kind in Texas.

Eighteen flights filled with orders take off every day.

“They go to the east and west coasts,” said Martin. “They really go everywhere.”

“It’s no secret that there have been supply chain issues, we’ve really been preparing for them all year. We have invested a lot in the transport infrastructure. More planes in the sky, trucks on the road. All of these things really help us deliver to our customers this Christmas season, ”said Martin.
