Have you dreamed of living in a castle? This Southlake home certainly looks like one
Multiple towers? Check. Grand staircase? Check. Elaborate chandelier? Check. Library on two levels? Check. This 13,917 square foot home in Southlake has everything a castle should be, but you don’t have to travel to Europe to see it.
The house was built in 2010 and has eight bedrooms, nine bathrooms and a half bath with plenty of space for guests or a large family. The royal design of the house offers an imposing appeal when you can look behind the iron gates. From the aerial photo, you can see that the 1.58 acre property was designed with privacy in mind. The structure of the home and separate guest house surround the backyard entertainment areas and pool, and the property is tree-lined.
Listing agent Roxann Taylor of Engel Völkers Dallas-Fort Worth said the many amenities in the home are geared towards family life.
“It’s really meant for a family with a lot of different interests,” said Taylor.

The home has a formal dining room, breakfast area, large kitchen, wine tasting room and elevator. An informal living space is next to the breakfast area and has a fireplace in the middle.
The master suite is on the first level and has a large bathroom and two story closet. A spacious game room or game room is on the second level and has a wet bar.
