High-Speed Chase Ends in Houston – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

A man suspected in a gunfight at a police station in the Houston area earlier this week was arrested Thursday after a car chase across the city.

According to KPRC, surveillance photos on Monday captured images of a person in a white four-door sedan pulling into the parking lot of a Harris County Constable substation in the northern Houston suburb of Spring. The person then fired several shots at the front doors, windows and the building before driving away, MPs said.

A vehicle that matched the description in the shooting was discovered by officials on Thursday. A helicopter video showed officials meandering in and around traffic through the city’s central business district, crowded highways and neighborhoods.

The driver was arrested shortly before noon after being stopped in the parking lot of a Goodwill store on the north side of Houston.

Further details were not immediately known.
