Kyrish Truck Centers, Southwest International and Summit CEO Justin Fink Partner to Form New Dealership Group

LEWISVILLE, Texas, October 27, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Summit Truck Group (“Summit”), Rush Enterprises, Inc., and Navistar, Inc. have entered into an agreement with fellow Navistar International Truck and IC Bus dealerships, Southwest International and Kyrish Truck Centers, to towards strengthening the Navistar dealer network to meet customer needs in Oklahoma and Texas. Summit has agreed to sell all of its commercial vehicle dealerships to subsidiaries of Rush Enterprises, Inc. After the discussion, Summit, Rush Enterprises, Inc. and Navistar, Inc. Justin Fink, in partnership with Southwest International and Kyrish Truck Centers, to bring Summit’s dealers in. to buy Oklahoma and his area of responsibility International Truck in the area Wichita Falls, Texas.
For the time being, this new dealer group will carry the Peak Truck and Trailer brand. Justin Fink becomes Dealer Principal and CEO of Peak Truck and Trailer serving the Oklahoma Markets. Fink will set up the support team for the new dealer group.
Following this transaction, Peak Truck and Trailer, Southwest International and Kyrish Truck Centers intend to merge their respective dealerships into a single business and dealer group within two to three years Texas and Oklahoma. This group will include over (20) locations in key markets such as Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Fort Worth, Oklahoma City and Tulsa. The synergies and opportunities that this larger company offers will be important to the employees of all affected units as we continue to face larger competitive groups of dealers.

Peak Trailer’s ownership structure is also changing as Summit plans to transfer its ownership to existing owners Southwest International, Kyrish and. to sell Justin Fink. Bobby Briggs, current President of Peak Trailer Group, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer.
