More apartments in the works at $1.8 billion Frisco Station
Developer Hillwood is preparing for the next phase of the $ 1.8 billion Frisco Station project.
Frisco Station is a 242 acre mixed use project being jointly built by Hillwood, VanTrust Real Estate and the Rudman Family Partnership. Up to 2,400 apartment buildings are planned.
Hillwood has already built two rental communities with more than 600 apartments in Frisco Station. They are north of the Dallas Cowboys Headquarters and Ford Stadium.
Hillwood is now working on plans for an additional 303 apartments at Frisco Station, according to planning documents filed with the state. The project would begin later this year on John Hickman Parkway west of the Dallas North Tollway.
JHP Architecture and Urban Design is planning the apartment community to open in 2023.
The developers of Frisco Station have already completed three office buildings and three hotels in what is one of the largest and most successful new projects in Frisco.
More than 5 million square feet of office space is planned for Frisco Station with future estimated employment of 15,000.
