New apartment community is on the way north of Fort Worth

Irving-based home builder JPI is launching a new rental community north of Fort Worth.

Construction of the 386-unit Jefferson Fossil Creek Apartments on North Beach Street in Haltom City will begin later this year.

The four-story apartment project is located near the intersection of Interstate 35W and Loop 820.

“As businesses continue to settle and thrive in Fort Worth, more housing will be needed to accommodate these new residents,” said Blake Taylor, JPI’s senior vice president, in a statement. “JPI’s Jefferson Fossil Creek offers modern amenities and luxurious finishes that attract talent to live, work and play in the area.”

The 20 hectare residential complex will open in early 2023. The project will include a resort-style pool, cabanas, an outdoor exercise area, coffee bar and demonstration kitchen, private courtyards and a dog park.

Architecture Demarest designed the project.

“We took a close look at how people are using their homes and communities after the pandemic. Employees have fundamentally changed their work styles and schedules and want spaces that enable a new approach to work-life integration, “said Taylor.

JPI is the busiest home builder in Dallas-Fort Worth with more than 5,000 homes under development.
