New industrial project on the way east of Dallas

Two developers from Dallas are building a new industrial project in Sunnyvale east of Dallas.

Brian Flaherty and Eric Langford have begun construction of a 200,000 square foot extension to the Sunnyvale Business Center on US Highway 80. The business park already comprises 650,000 square meters of buildings.

The next 36 acre phase of the Sunnyvale Business Center, Sunnyvale West, opens this fall.

Alliance Architects designed the buildings and Bob Moore Construction is the general contractor. Paladin Partners will take over the rental.

Langford and Flaherty have completed 2.7 million square feet of speculative industrial real estate projects totaling more than $ 280 million since 2016.

The area east of Dallas is one of the fastest growing industrial home improvement markets with new projects in Mesquite, Forney and Sunnyvale. Nearly 29 million square foot warehouse projects are underway in Dallas-Fort Worth, most of the country.
