New juice spot makes Addison center the healthiest destination ever

A new juice store opens on Prestonwood Place in Addison, making this already healthy mall healthier than ever: it is Depressed, the brand for cold pressed juices and herbal beverages, and will open at No. 104 at 5290 Belt Line Rd. this fall.

Pressed was founded in 2010 as “Pressed Juicery” in Los Angeles. Since then, they have simplified their name and expanded into California, Arizona, Nevada, and Texas. They have a huge stake in Texas with locations in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, and Houston, four out of five cities that CultureMap has an office in, so they obviously have good taste.

They made their Dallas debut in Uptown, followed by stores in Fort Worth, Southlake and Preston Royal in Dallas.

The chain offers more than 40 types of cold-pressed juices, plant-based milk, smoothies to take away and smoothie bowls. They also carry functional shots, plant-based milk and their popular plant-based soft ice cream Freeze with gluten-free and vegan toppings.

“Dallas was the first Texas store we opened and it was amazing to see the community enthusiastically embracing our products and our plant-centric lifestyle,” said Michelle Peterson, chief marketing officer for Pressed Proximity to strong, suburban neighborhoods with health conscious residents . “

Prestonwood Place is adjacent to Village on the Parkway and Prestonwood Town Center at the intersection of Belt Line Road and Montfort Drive. You already have a Flower Child, the super healthy restaurant concept from Fox Restaurant Concepts, as well as a Pilates and Orange Theory Fitness club.

In addition to Pressed, the center welcomes a new location from Massage Heights, the massage center chain based in San Antonio. Massage is good for you too. And Jacqueline Fitch, Senior VP at Northwood Retail, says more tenants are on the way.

“In addition to Pressed and Massage Heights, we are looking forward to further improving the shopping, wellness and dining options over the next six months,” says Fitch.

Don’t worry, it’s not just about diet and exercise: soon there will be a location for The Biscuit Bar, as well as the second location for Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams in Dallas and the surrounding area, as well as a location for La La Land, the socially conscious café and café.
