New sports bar and grill The High Dive offers up great food with relaxing atmosphere
WICHITA FALLS (KFDX / KJTL) – If you’re a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, there’s a new sports bar and restaurant that will serve you BBQ and cold beer during the Sunday game.
“Our goal is to create an environment where everyone is welcome and an atmosphere where anything is possible,” said Shannan Baum, co-owner of The High Dive.
Meet Shannan Baum, a woman who recently brought her dreams to life, an accomplishment that has not been easy.
“In the beginning, all the rain we got this summer kind of threw us back. We had planned to open much earlier in the summer, but with various projects that had to be carried out, the rain postponed a lot of it, which postponed our opening a little, ”said Baum.
You may think this place looks familiar to you as it used to be the home of Jordan Craft BBQ before it relocated locations and left the perfect spot for Baum.

“Some things were already there when they came here, some things they brought with them, like crowds and stuff, people know this stage and things that have been around for many years, but I think they were chosen. The nomination for Best Music Venue in Texoma came just before they left, which helped us a little, ”said Baum.
And don’t forget, they serve delicious foods like grilled cheese, tacos, and more.
“We get a lot of people who complement our food. It’s all done in-house, for the most part, lots of good answers, and like I said, we’re working our way through the kinks, but we’ve worked through most of it, so let’s just keep going, “said Baum.
The next time your favorite team plays, check out Baum at High Dive where she said you won’t be disappointed.
The High Dive is located on 7503 Seymour Highway. They are open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. They close at 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and close at 10 p.m. on Sunday
Baum says they are hiring for all positions and if you want to apply all you have to do is come over and apply.
