NFL roundup: Lamar Jackson rallies Ravens past Chiefs
2021-09-20 04:43:41 GMT + 00: 00 – Odafe Oweh recovered a fumble with 1:20 Sundays remaining, allowing the Baltimore Ravens to stop Kansas City’s final possession and the Baltimore Chiefs with 36:35 to beat.
The chiefs’ fumble from Clyde Edwards-Helaire allowed Lamar Jackson to thwart the surprise with a fourth-down keeper, move the chains and Baltimore’s time to run out. Although the Ravens were already understaffed with 16 players in the injured reserve, Jackson fought his first win in four matchups against Patrick Mahomes and the two-time defending champions of the AFC Champions Chiefs.
Jackson overcame two interceptions in the first quarter, including one for a pick-six to pass 239 yards, rushing 107 yards and scoring three touchdowns, and rallied Baltimore from an 11-point deficit.
Mahomes completed passes to nine receivers, for 343 yards and three touchdowns, but threw the first interception of his career in September. Kelce caught seven balls for 109 yards. His 46-yard 6:50 touchdown in the third quarter resulted in a 35-24 lead, but the Chiefs didn’t score another goal.

After teaming up with fast receiver Henry Ruggs for a 61-yard scoring strike with 9:35 left to give Las Vegas a 23:14 lead, Carr found Darren Waller for 25 yards and a first down three minutes on the clock. That helped the Raiders reduce the clock to 20 seconds, and Daniel Carlson scored with a 45-yard field goal, his fourth of the game, to thwart the result. Ben Roethlisberger completed 27 of 40 passes for 295 yards with a touchdown pass – to rookie running back Najee Harris – and an interception for Pittsburgh.
