PICKUP Spotlights Jason Zubrick as Chief Technology Officer and Tim Delgado as VP of Technology and Chief Information Security Officer

DALLAS – (BUSINESS WIRE) – PICKUP, a provider of enterprise-class last-mile delivery solutions to leading retailers, commercial and industrial companies, today highlights the dynamism of the company’s technology team, led by Jason Zubrick as Chief Technology Officer and Tim Delgado as VP of Technology and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Jason Zubrick brings over 17 years of experience leading and developing strategic direction for corporate technology teams. Before PICKUP he worked as CTO for defi Solutions and in numerous technology functions at GameStop. As CTO, Zubrick drives PICKUP’s long-term technology strategy and vision, monitors day-to-day technology operations and uses new technologies to bring more performance, safety and functions to the market.

Tim Delgado has a technology career spanning almost 20 years in infrastructure, software development, architecture, DevOps and security. Before PICKUP, Delgado was Director of Global Security Architecture and Engineering at GameStop. In his role as VP of Technology and CISO, he is responsible for leading the security program, strategy and provision of infrastructure and system operations for PICKUP in order to provide the company with a reliable, available and secure foundation.

Under the leadership of PICKUP’s technology leadership, the company has created a defined and documented security program and completed SOC 2 Type 1 compliance certification with new security functions that will continue to disrupt the logistics and supply chain industry on the last mile. The certification proves the company’s ability to implement critical security guidelines to protect customer and partner data. In addition, these security guidelines are automatically integrated with new functions and systems that are added to the ecosystem.

PICKUP’s end-to-end delivery solution, PICKUP Fusion, is people and technology powered to support the delivery of large, heavy, and high quality items. PICKUP eliminates complexity by providing customers with what they need when they need it through seamless delivery experiences – and supports in-store, e-commerce and omni-channel services. The solution provides real-time visibility into planning, tracking, confirmation and feedback.

The cloud-based platform is a cohesive architecture and technology stack that enables PICKUP to move quickly and without limits. Its omni-channel capabilities allow brands to process the full range delivery for their entire catalog and uncover inventory that may not previously have been available through traditional e-commerce transactions. In addition, PICKUP’s technology measures the market-based capacity of supply and demand to meet delivery windows and ensure customers have the best possible delivery experience.

“The key to the success of the PICKUP platform is the technology team’s decades of experience in a variety of industries,” said Brenda Stoner, founder and CEO of PICKUP. “Our team builds platforms and services that provide simple and reliable delivery experiences that meet our customers’ current needs and ensure that future experiences keep customers happy and loyal.”

Following a $ 15 million Series B funding round announced in March, PICKUP’s technology team continues to improve its solution to further accelerate the company’s rapid growth.
