Plano family sells home to travel across U.S. in luxury RV

A Plano family sold their house to travel the US in a luxury RV, reported KXAS-TV (Channel 5).

Their new way of life has enabled them to stay mobile during the pandemic while working from home, the report said.

“We just worked from home and tortured ourselves through work,” Cliff Brown told Channel 5. “We can do this from anywhere.”

Although many of her friends thought the move was “crazy”, everything was carefully planned, Mandy Brown told the television station.

The Browns have crossed Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky and West Virginia in a 43-foot RV that the family calls “Mojo”.

Their daughter Polly and son Clifton Brown V are said to be remote and home-schooled, according to the report. A plus for their new lifestyle is seeing and experiencing history and places rather than just reading about them, the report says.

“Get them out of the Plano bubble,” Cliff Brown told the TV station. “Big bubble! Loved living there. But something new. “

The family were on their way to Pennsylvania last week so Cliff could pick up a bachelor’s degree he’d obtained through online courses.

“I think everything has a silver lining,” Cliff told Channel 5. “And I think we found it.”
