Plano ISD approves updated health and safety protocols for the new school year
The updated guidelines have been revised to reflect those of Governor Greg Abbott Implementing ordinance of May 18, Texas Education Agency Requirements for school health operations and guidance from the Collin County Health Department, noisy Draft version of the document prepared for the board of directors.

On July 27, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention updated his manual for everyone – including those who are fully vaccinated – to wear masks in K-12 schools. The update also recommends that fully vaccinated individuals in areas with “high” or “significant” transmission rates wear masks indoors. Counties of Collin and Denton have had high transmission rates since July 30th.
