Plano library’s virtual seminar to focus on vintage food from various of eras and regions

Discuss your favorite infant foods and recipes from different eras and regions, including North Texas, at a virtual seminar hosted by the Plano Public Library on July 20.

The library staff plan to discuss their favorite vintage dishes and desserts, and attendees are invited to discuss theirs, too. Registration is free and can be completed online.

Resources provided by the library include a page with screenshots of vintage recipes from Plano and other parts of North Texas. Additional historical cookbooks and recipes are also available through Portal to Texas History.

Dishes up for discussion range from vintage appetizers, dinners, and drinks to cakes and healthier snacks for kids, based on a list of suggested books from the library.
