Dallas police are investigating an incident Sunday in which a woman opened fire on several officers at Bishop Arts, police said.

According to the Dallas Police Department, officers responded to a service call at 300 block on Davis Street shortly after 1 a.m.

Police said two officers were working in full uniform off-duty when they asked additional officers on duty to help with an unrelated incident.

Police said the four officers heard gunshots near the store at the listed location while they were in the parking lot.

According to police, the officers responded and saw a female suspect with a handgun near a gray vehicle.

Police said when officers told the suspect to drop the gun, they started shooting at the suspect. The suspect then fled.

The officers did not return fire and no casualties were reported, police said.

The investigation into this incident continues, according to the police.
