Deep Ellum Wine Walk: Summer on the City

What: A wine walk with limited edition wine glasses
When: Thursday, July 15, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Tickets: $ 15 in advance at Eventbrite, $ 20 at the box office
This Discover Deep Ellum summer series event offers a fun way to discover Deep Ellum. Wine glasses for this sip and shop event were designed by local artist and teacher Justin Clumpner.
Enchantment Pops Fifth Anniversary Party

What: Celebrate five years of Encanto Pops

Every time you eat a paleta made from fresh fruit and 100 percent natural ingredients, it’s a little party in your mouth. Encanto Pops is celebrating its fifth anniversary and is offering these mini-parties their very own little celebration.
Locomotive for Coconuts Party in the Truck Yard

What: Luau vibes with fire dancers and tropical music all weekend.

Truck Yard cracks coconuts for tropical drinks all weekend. They also promise fire dancers and tropical music all weekend, as well as a special roast pork (while supplies last) on Saturday. With a hula skirt, Hawaiian shirt and leis you can achieve a special drink offer. Truck Yard in The Colony is also celebrating coconuts this weekend, but unfortunately no roast pork.
Cheese and Salsa Showdown at Oak Highlands Brewery

What: A food competition for the best salsa and queso
When: All day Saturday 17th July
Tickets: $ 15 (per category) to enter, $ 5 for a bag of chips, and a People’s Choice vote on Prekindle.
The brewery is going to have its first ever food contest this weekend and boy have you picked a good one. Prepare your best queso or salsa (or both) to win gift cards and cash prizes. If all you want to do is try all of the flavorful delicacies, you can buy a bag of chips for $ 5 and vote for People’s Choice.
Love and Cheese “Doorbuster Event” ‘

A burglar broke into Amor y Queso on Tuesday and replacing doors isn’t cheap. Boarded up is bad, but cheesy snack boards from this specialty store are so good. Be neighborly and buy a pile of cheese at a “doorbuster event” this weekend.
Brown Box Crabs at Truluck

What: A very special crab dish for a short time
When: July 15-18, July 23-25
Tickets: None, but the box of Crab Bucatini Pasta is $ 115
Called “crab caviar”, brown box crabs are related to the king crab and taste like a king crab / stone crab hybrid. On two weekends in July, Truluck’s offers a starter that really stands out. The Box of Crab Bucatini Pasta ($ 115) is made with bucatini noodles, heirloom tomatoes, capers, basil, lemon, and parmesan.
Fly Queens Drag Brunch and After Party

What: The biggest drag brunch in Texas with two shows and an after party

Dallas flight attendants by day and fabulous performers, Liquor Mini and Kandy Aisle, put on this energetic show every third Sunday. After the show this Sunday, join the cast for an after-party on the Mesa Mezcal terrace.
Salsa Sundays in the Scout

If you thought the Scout at The Statler Hotel was all about arcade games, billiards and bowling, Salsa Sundays will change your mind. Deejay and professional salsa and bachata dancer Wander Rosario will teach you all the moves and revive your enthusiasm for dance.

From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. there is a hot dog specialty from Bobber’s Burgers & Whips with Luscher’s Red Hots and a fresh pineapple salsa from Agricole
World Cinnaholic Day
