The connection from lane 482 south to Texas 183 west will be closed Wednesday night from 8:45 p.m. to Thursday 5:00 a.m.
The Texas Department of Transportation said the road will be closed as part of the $ 300 million interchange rebuilding project in Irving along Texas Highways 183, 114, Loop 12 and Lane 482 – around the former Texas Stadium.
Drivers wanting to avoid the interchange can take exit 114 north and loop 12 south to 183 west.
The project is expected to be completed in mid-2023, weather permitting.
TxDOT urges drivers to exercise caution in the work area and to strictly follow the diversion signs and to plan additional travel time.
