Several men were shot dead in an apartment complex in the Design District on Thursday afternoon, Dallas police said. One of the men died.
Just before 3:30 p.m., officers received a call about a shooting in the Atlas Design District Apartments on the 1500 block of Inspiration Drive, near North Riverfront Boulevard and Interstate 35.
When the officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds on the second floor of the parking garage, police said. He was taken to a local hospital. The police did not disclose his name or condition.
Just over an hour later, police received another call about two men walking at another local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators found they were involved in the shootings in the Design District, police said.
One of the men, whom police identified as 18-year-old Darius Ali Claiborn, died of his injuries. His name could not be confirmed with public records.
