According to a press release from Legacy West in Plano, where both chains have locations, Shake Shack and True Food Kitchen recently announced the introduction of new summer dishes and drinks that can be enjoyed as the temperature rises.

Shake shack

The chain, which opened in Plano in 2017, offers a hot honey-glazed chicken sandwich with habanero mayonnaise and grated lettuce on a toasted potato bun, according to a press release. It also serves chicken bites and fries with the hot honey spice.

Drinks include “mocktails” like a watermelon and mint mojito, lime and agave margarita, and piña punch. They are served as they are or with alcohol added.

On the sweeter side, the summer shake flavors include cherry pop and triple chocolate chip. They are made with real cane sugar and without artificial sweeteners.

The chain also has locations in North Texas in Dallas, Irving and Southlake.
