It’s easy to include Dallas bars, restaurants, and breweries in your small business Saturday shopping. Neighborhoods like Knox Henderson and the Bishop Arts District are made for this, with locally owned shops and restaurants to dabble in with frantic shopping or a leisurely stroll. Shop and dine along Garland Road near Peavy, several malls on Mockingbird Lane, or attend one of these special Saturday Small Business events that will bring it all together for you.
Crafts market at Vector Brewing
9850 Walnut Hill Lane, Suite 405 (Northeast Dallas)
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, November 27th
More than 40 artisans will be in the back parking lot at Vector Brewing with a variety of goods and gifts. Some foodie favorites will be there, including Bread in Texas, Ferris Wheel Coffee by Wylie, and Oak Cliff Cravings, whose crazy candy enchilados will make you smile.
Maraville Cacao offers candies, hot cocoa bombs made from Mexican chocolate, and unique treats like corn in a candy bar. The Drop Dead Delicious Pickling Company has their cucumber Bloody Mary Dill and Ugly Mustard Dill made right here in Dallas with cucumbers, herbs and peppers from Texas. Texas Craft Brewers Guild, a nonprofit that drives the Texan craft beer industry, created a limited edition glass to celebrate Small Business Saturday at several breweries in Dallas and more across Texas. The ‘Here’s to Gettin’ Back Out There ‘glass was designed by DeuxSouth Creative and $ 1 of every glass sold goes to the guild.
Local attendees include Civil Pour, Hop & Sting Brewing Co., Odd Muse Brewing, Peticolas Brewing Co., Texas Ale Project, Vector Brewing, and White Rock Alehouse & Brewery. Check out the purchase price and quantities available on social media, or just drop by and have a few beers at your favorite local brewery.
Shop small at the Dallas Farmers Market

The Dallas Farmers Market is decked out for Christmas as we head into the most beautiful time of the year. And every day here is a little business day with over 200 local family businesses in The Shed, The Market, and other retail stores and restaurants in the Harvest Lofts building.
Saturday also marks the start of a seasonal Christmas market that takes place on Saturdays and Sundays. At The Shed, you’ll hear live music and chef demonstrations, and discover an even wider range of craft vendors offering unique gifts throughout the holiday season. Grab a specially designed glass celebrating Deep Ellum and head to the on-map stores serving wine and other beverages as you browse all of the wares. Tickets are $ 15 when purchased in advance on Eventbrite.

Why ring the bell all the way when you can have cocktails all the way? The Lowest Greenville Merchant Collective is hosting its 5th Annual Light Up Lowest Greenville Event on Small Business Saturday this year, featuring several cocktail specials and more from local businesses. HG Sply Co offers vacation photos and a jingle juice cocktail worth $ 6, while Flatbread Co. offers select drinks and pizza samples for $ 5. Standard service has a Son of a Nutcracker cocktail for $ 6, and Rapscallion has a signature cocktail for $ 8 with whiskey, Campari infused with cocoa nibs, and sweet vermouth.
Despite all the cocktail offerings, this event is family-friendly: Santa Claus will be stationed on Greenville Avenue Pizza Co. and the tree lights will be at 7 p.m. in front of Son of a Butcher.

More than 25 businesses in downtown Garland will be attending a free Saturday small business party to kick off a series of Christmas events around the square. On Saturday you will receive free Christmas decorations with every purchase from a participating retailer. Dallas by Chocolate and Dallas Bites Christmas Tours

“Our bus and walking tours only include local restaurants, breweries and other facilities,” said owner Jeanine Stevens. “We are very proud of the local restaurants in our town as well as the local history behind them and behind the local neighborhoods. They help make the Dallas area unique, from taquerias and barbecues to chocolatiers. ”
“Our Christmas Lights, Chocolate & Sips Tours showcase local dessert places and some of the city’s most exciting neighborhoods for Christmas lights,” said Stevens.
Tours run November 26th through December 30th and a variety of options include the Park Cities / Downtown Dallas areas as well as the lights of Frisco / Addison. Other Christmas lights tours include Dallas’ Best Speakeasys, a vegan dessert tour, and socially distant tours where you drive your own vehicle to Christmas lighting locations and the host meets you there to serve you delicious Dallas dishes.
