Sweetgreen to Debut First Dallas Restaurant

Located in the walkable shopping district of Uptown Westdorf, The new restaurant, Dallasites features a brand that is passionate about the belief that real food should be convenient and accessible to everyone.

sweegreen was founded in 2007 by three college students who were simply looking for a healthier, more convenient diet. Today the restaurant brand is reinventing fast food, leading it purposefully and making sustainable decisions that last longer than we will and never forego quality for convenience.

sweetgreen only sources the highest quality ingredients and delivers fresh products every morning for its changing seasonal menus. Dallas guests can expect a range of local produce, including bread from Empire Baking Co., organic novels Fredericksburg Peach Co. (Fredericksburg, TX) and ripe tomatoes from Village Harvest (Marfa, TX) among others.

Fan favorites from the menu include the kale caesar with fried chicken, tomatoes, parmesan chips, grated parmesan, grated kale, chopped romaine lettuce, lime squeezer, and Caesar dressing; the Harvest bowl with fried chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, apples, goat cheese, roasted almonds, warm wild rice, grated kale and balsamic vinaigrette; and the Guacamole green with roast chicken, avocado, tomatoes, red onions, grated cabbage, tortilla chips, spring mix, chopped romaine, lime press and lime-coriander-jalapeno vinaigrette. The Dallas restaurant offers the Texas exclusive Garlic Chili Shrimp Bowl, with Cajun shrimp, warm wild rice, shredded kale, shredded cabbage, red onions, raw carrots, apples, raw pecans, fresh herbs, a lime press and Nuoc-Cham dressing.

To celebrate the opening, sweetgreen is offering free delivery for the first two weeks when guests order via their mobile app. For every meal sold on Monday, November 29th, sweetgreen donates one meal Lighter bites, an organization that empowers underserved families to choose better, brighter foods by providing fresh produce and nutritional education for better health.

The West Village Sweetgreen opens on November 23 at 3636 McKinney Ave., Suite 100, Dallas, TX (business hours: 10:30 am to 9:00 pm, Monday-Sunday). The estimated 3,200 square meter area offers space for up to 32 indoor diners with additional seating for 26 on the outdoor terrace.
