Take a look at four posh pools we’ve found in Dallas-Fort Worth backyards

It’s the time of year when we can only think about staying cool. Air conditioning is nice (and a necessity), but something about a swim in the pool on a sunny summer afternoon is even nicer. Let’s highlight some of the most posh pools we’ve seen in the Dallas-Fort Worth residential market. Yes, the homes certainly live up to expectations for luxury, but these pools take them over the top.

The pool on the most expensive property

Why not start with the most expensive home on the market in Dallas? For a casual $ 39 million, enjoy hot summer days by the pool at this house in the Volk Estates neighborhood of University Park. The home at 6767 Hunters Glen Road is over 16,000 square feet and sits on 2.86 acres. The landscaped property has a pool with a diving board, as well as a poolside spa and cabana. And if you’re tired of swimming, there is also a putting green, second spa, greenhouse, and tennis court. When you have the money, let’s go (and invite us, please).

Designed for entertainment

This Bluffview home has a U-shaped design that wraps around the pool and outdoor entertainment areas – perfect for hosting a party with plenty of pool, lounge, and dining space. The home on 4519 Cherokee Trail was previously listed for $ 6,500,000 but has since been sold. If you love to cook, this space will suit your needs. There is a covered patio at the back with an outside kitchen and built-in nebulizers to help you relax from the heat. In addition, the main pool transitions into a lap pool designed for a professional swimmer.

The home is over 10,000 square feet and has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and three half bathrooms. Look at the inside.

Just chic

Sure, this property has over 20,000 square feet of living space. And of course it has nine bedrooms as well as a playroom, a cinema and a study. But look at this pool. It’s massive, and it has a mosaic design and fountains, on top of that. Technically, it is designed with two pools that sit next to each other and the mosaic design connects. And check out the expansive outdoor space around this Flower Mound home on 1808 Point de Vue Drive. There is also a three story barn and the house overlooks the water of Lake Grapevine. The house was listed for $ 9.3 million back in August 2020.

Curious about the inside? Just look.

Escape on the roof

To top it off, take a peek at this private rooftop pool, part of a two-story penthouse in Azure, Dallas. Choose your views: you can overlook the skyline or watch a movie on the outside screen. The 5,025-square-foot condominium is one of two that are on the Azure and was previously listed for $ 5,695,000. The main living spaces are on the first level of the unit and the top floor is the pool and outdoor deck, as well as an enclosed cabana with wet bar, living area and bathroom. If living in a skyscraper is your dream, check out the view from inside the house.
