Texas LB DeMarvion Overshown (toe) available vs. West Virginia

After it was discovered that Texan linebacker DeMarvion Overshown wouldn’t play against West Virginia, the senior is available via UT on Saturday.

Overshowed made the trip to Morgantown, W. Virginia, but was spotted on the sidelines wearing street clothes and boots. After the first drive of the game, Overshown was spotted in full uniform and worked on the sidelines with the training staff.

The Longhorns will do without their lead rusher Bijan Robinson at Milan’s Puskar Stadium, but their lead tackler Overshown may be able to play. The senior linebacker has had 72 tackles this season, the fifth most in the Big 12.

Linebacker Jaylan Ford in the second year started as a linebacker against the Mountaineers together with Luke Brockermeyer in the fourth year. Overshown came in from West Virginia for a few snaps with the linebacker during the fourth drive.

Overshowed also missed this season due to a concussion.
