Texas State Fair To Have Free Food & Rides to Get Vaccinated
Posted August 30, 2021
(WBAP / KLIF) – The Texas State Fair is gearing up for an in-person celebration with COVID guidelines. The 2021 fair in Dallas encourages visitors to wear masks and offer vaccinations indoors.
According to Karissa Condoianis of the fair, last year the fair was reduced to a drive-through event that had a huge financial impact. This year the organizers are taking extreme measures to ensure the safety of visitors during the personal celebrations.
The 135th annual event is held at the Dallas Historic Exhibition Park and is expected to attract large crowds. However, Condoianis says Dallas County is setting up a vaccination clinic behind Big Tex and offering $ 20 in free meal and ride vouchers to get vaccinated.
The fair also encourages visitors to wear masks indoors and during large outdoor gatherings. The Texas State Fair takes place in Dallas from September 24th to October 17th.
