No league is Thanksgiving like that NFL!
Currently, Derek Carr and the Las Vegas Raiders are just ahead of Dak Prescott and the Cowboys in Dallas. And football fans used to get hearty treats on the Christmas opener when the Chicago Bears scored a game-winning field goal when the time ran out to flip the Detroit Lions.
Dalton spoke to Tom Rinaldi after the game about the victory of the bears over the lions.
Tonight’s finale will see the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints compete at the Superdome (8:20 p.m. ET, NBC).

Las Vegas Raiders at the Dallas Cowboys
Ready to feast
The Raiders were the first to strike when DeSean Jackson got going with that monster touchdown from 56 yards.
On that TD, Carr became the first QB in Raiders history to hit 30,000 yards in career. Additionally, it was Jackson’s 34th career touchdown from over 50 yards, good for the second-most-all-time in NFL history behind only Jerry Rice.

What could have been
On the following ride, the Raiders were so close to big sales. Initially it looked like the Cowboys had regained the fumble, but after verification it was considered an incomplete pass.

Untouched
Raiders starback Josh Jacobs ran right past the Cowboys defense on his way to the end zone to make an eight-point game that went into the second frame.
Traveling
Dallas had a spark at the end of the second and moved down with ease.

Chicago Bears 16, Detroit Lions 14
Is that legal
The game started with a confusing sequence before a game was even called up. After Detroit postponed the opening coin toss, Chicago attempted to retreat to the original postponement.
A unique coin tossing sequence took place between the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions, in which the Lions won the toss and were moved to the Bears trying to withdraw.
You look familiar
The Lions met first after pausing on defense. Jared Goff fell behind, finding old Los Angeles Rams teammate Josh Reynolds for a 39 yard score.

Darnell Mooney = deep menace.
He stood behind the secondary to do that stupid deep catch.
The moon shot gave Jimmy Graham this penny. It put Chi-Town ahead 10-7, and the Bears added a field goal to bring a 13-7 lead into half-time.

Don’t count Detroit out. In seven games, Goff & Co. walked 79 yards to pay the dirt in the third game.
TJ Hockenson kicked off the TD Reception which helped improve the Lions 14-13.
Beary Happy Thanksgiving Day
Andy Dalton will have a good meal tonight.
On the final drive of the game, Chicago held a whopping 18-game drive to beat the time and put Cairo Santos in the perfect position for a game-winning 28-yard field goal.
This Bears team earned their turkey after racking up their first win on Thanksgiving Thursday.
The Chicago Bears won 16:14 when Andy Dalton led the offense.
